Givenchy is taking it back to nomadic spirit. For the Fall 2012 Couture Collection, Designer Riccardo Tisci was specifically inspired by Southern Italy gypsies. Models (in) NYFW - Shake It Like a Polaroid Picture…
During the 8 days that was New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012.13, I was able to catch up with Marte Mei van Haaster, Ros Georgiou, Sara Blomqvist, Isabella Oberg, Sung Hee, Monika Sawicka, Mila Krasnoiarova, & Marie Piovesan for a minute or two in between shows, castings, fittings, hair & makeup, etc. for some instant photos shot inside. All of the girls had some fun with either posing, signing, or decorating the polaroids, and I had a lot of fun shooting and getting the models to be more involved with the final images. =)

Calla RTW Fall 2012
This season, Calla Haynes decamped from Paris to New York to show a collection that was cool as much as it was charming.
I am a grammar Nazi who enjoys writing run-on paragraphs and plans to have a career in writing. Committed to the writing program at Pratt Institute for the fall of 2014. Eighteen and underaged, what. Salinger, Fitzgerald, and Rowling, the occasional Austen, and anything else fantastic I can get my hands on. Millay. I often choose to drink immense amounts of black coffee as an alternative to prescribed medications. Good music is important, as is...good coffee. I enjoy good coffee.
